2017 Easter Sunday:「為甚麼在死人中找活人呢？」

背誦經文： 3 論到祂兒子─我主耶穌基督。按肉體說，是從大衛後裔生的； 4 按聖善的靈說，因從死裏復活，以大能顯明是 神的兒子。(羅1:3-4)

A) 復活－人類歷史上最偉大的神蹟

v 對一個邪惡淫亂的世代，人們最需要的是救主、是永恆的愛，而不是其他！『人為朋友捨命，人的愛心沒有比這個大的』(約15:13)。耶穌基督從死裡復活不只是人類歷史上最大的神蹟，更是最偉大的神蹟，因為『萬有的主宰竟肯因著愛為受造的人死』、『全能的 神竟肯因著愛為渺小的人死』、『聖潔的 神竟肯因著愛為罪人死』…！

v 『復活』是基督徒信仰的根基與核心內容 。

§ 14若基督沒有復活，我們所傳的便是枉然，你們所信的也是枉然…17基督若沒有復活，你們的信便是徒然，你們仍在罪裏…(林前15:14，17)

B) 「為甚麼在死人中找活人呢？」(路24:5)

§ 「不要懼怕！我是首先的，我是末後的， 18 又是那存活的；我曾死過，現在又活了，直活到永永遠遠；並且拿著死亡和陰間的鑰匙…」(啟1:17b-18)

§ 3 願頌讚歸與我們主耶穌基督的父 神！祂曾照自己的大憐憫，藉耶穌基督從死裏復活，重生了我們，叫我們有活潑的盼望， 4 可以得著不能朽壞、不能玷污、不能衰殘、為你們存留在天上的基業。(彼前1:3-4)

C) 復活的耶穌不只成為賜生命的主，祂也成為我們的生命

§ 10…我來了，是要叫人得生命，並且得的更豐盛。  (約10:10)

§ 3 豈不知我們這受洗歸入基督耶穌的人是受洗歸入祂的死嗎？ 4 所以，我們藉著洗禮歸入死，和祂一同埋葬，原是叫我們一舉一動有新生的樣式，像基督藉著父的榮耀從死裏復活一樣。(羅6:3-4)

§ 耶穌…說：「復活在我，生命也在我 …」(約11:25) - 對祂，你如何？

2017 Easter Sunday: “Why do you seek the living among the dead?”

Memorization Scripture: “Concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.” (Rom 1:3-4)

A. Resurrection – The greatest miracle of human history

v Concerning an evil and perverse generation, what people need the most is a Savior, an everlasting love, and nothing else. “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” (John 15:13) The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is not only the greatest miracle of human history, but the most amazing miracle. “For the sake of love, the author of the universe is willing to die for the created beings. For the sake of love, the omnipotent God is willing to die for the finite. For the sake of love, the holy God is willing to die for sinners!”

v “Resurrection” is the foundation and core of Christian faith

a.  And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. … And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! (1 Cor 15:14,17)

B. “Why do you seek the living among the dead?”(Luke 24:5)

a. “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.” (Rev 1:17b-18)

b. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.” (1 Pet 1:3-4)

C. The resurrected Jesus is not only the Lord who gives life but He has also become our life

a. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)

b. Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?  Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Rom 6:3-4)

c. Jesus said … , “I am the resurrection and the life.” (John 11:25) What will you do concerning Him?
