《腓立比書精義》(8) ：『基督是我們的至寶與標竿』(下)

經文：腓3:12-4:1

D) 基督是我們的標竿

a)『清楚的標竿』：是因主吸引我，使我的心能緊緊跟隨祂，且願快跑地跟隨祂

13 弟兄們，我不是以為自己已經得著了；我只有一件事，就是忘記背後，努力面前的，14 向著標竿直跑，要得 神在基督耶穌裏從上面召我來得的獎賞。(v13-14)

b) 『堅定的心志』：是因 神幫助我，一再使我的腳蹤不再流蕩，全然向主而去

15 所以我們中間，凡是完全人總要存這樣的心；若在甚麼事上存別樣的心，神也必以此指示你們。 16 然而，我們到了甚麼地步，就當照著甚麼地步行。【或作：無論我們到了甚麼地步，都當照此而行－let us walk by the same rule/standard (v15-16) 】

E) 基督是我們榮耀的盼望

【保羅的勸勉】

1) 要效法當效法的

你們要一同效法我，也當留意看那些照著我們榜樣行的人 (v17)

2) 要防備那些『基督十字架的仇敵』

18 因為有許多人行事是基督十字架的仇敵。我屢次告訴你們，現在又流淚地告訴你們： 19 他們的結局就是沉淪；他們的 神就是自己的肚腹。他們以自己的羞辱為榮耀，專以地上的事為念。(v18-19)

3) 要持定『天上國民』的榮耀身份與盼望

我們卻是天上的國民，等候救主，就是主耶穌基督，從天上降臨。祂要按著那能叫萬有歸服自己的大能，將我們這卑賤身體改變形狀，和祂自己榮耀的身體相似。(因此)…你們應當靠主站立得穩。(3:20-4:1) 【註：中文漏了「因此…」】

Memorization Scripture: “¹³ Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, ¹⁴ I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. “ (Phil 3:13-14)

A. Our joy is Christ (Phil 3:1)

B. Our boasting is Christ (Phil 3:2-6)

C. Our utmost prize is Christ (Phil 3:7-12)

a. “The Wisest Choice” : Transformation of the values of this life (v 3:7-8a)

b. “The Most Excellent Pursuit” : Transformation of the pursuits for this life (v3:8b-12)

D. Our goal is Christ

a. “A clear goal”: It is because the Lord has drawn me that my heart is able to follow Him closely and run quickly after Him.

“¹³ Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, ¹⁴ I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. “ (v13-14)

b. “A steadfast heart”: It is because the Lord had been my help that my feet no longer wander but move wholly towards Him.

¹⁵ Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. ¹⁶ Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind. (v15-16)

E. Our hope of glory is Christ

“Paul’s admonition”

a. Follow the examples that ought to be followed

“¹⁷ Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.” (v17)

b. Guard against those that are the enemies of the cross of Christ

“¹⁸ For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: ¹⁹ whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.” (v18-19)

c. Hold on to the glorious position and hope of the citizenship of heaven

^“20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, ²¹ who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. ¹Therefore … so stand fast in the Lord, beloved. (v3:20-4:1)
