hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so
now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:20-21)

－弟兄們，我願意你們知道，我所遭遇的事更是叫福音興旺É(V12)

But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me
have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel (v12)
o É.只要凡事放膽，無論是生是死，總叫基督在我身上照常顯大。(V20)
...But with all
boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether
by life or by death. (v20)
B) 秘訣－藉著『活基督』
The
secret - through Òliving the ChristÓ

É.因我活著就是基督，我死了就有益處。(V21)
...For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. (v21)
由『活著為基督』到『活著是基督』

C) 保羅的榜樣
(V22-26)
PaulÕs example (v22-26)
a) 情願離世，與基督同在－因為這是好的無比的
(V23)
Having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better (v23)
b)
深知自己仍舊存活的目的與價值
Knowing
well the purpose and value for him to remain alive
－然而，我在內身活著，為你們更是要緊的,
因為：

Nevertheless, for me to remain in the flesh is more needful for you,
because:
(1)
能叫更多人得救－但我在肉身活著，若成就我工夫的果子É(V22)
For more to be saved - but if I live on
in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my laborÉ (v22)
(2)
能使腓立比的聖徒們在所信的道上：①又長進，②又喜樂
For Philippian saints: (1) progress and
(2) joy of faith
(3)
腓立比的聖徒們在基督裡的歡樂也必會因保羅的來到而越發加增
The
joy of Philippian saints will be more abundant in Christ by PaulÕs coming to
them.
D) 保羅對腓立比聖徒們的期望 (V27 – 30)

expectation toward Philippian saints (v27-30)
a)
行事為人要與基督的福音相稱 (V27a)
Let your conduct be
worthy of the gospel of Christ (v27a)
－不論在任何情況下：無論我或來見你們或不在你們那裡
- In any circumstance: whether I come and
see you or am absent
b)
同有一個心志，站立得穩―為所信的福音齊心努力 (V27b)
Stand fast in one spirit, with one mind - striving
together for the faith of the gospel (v27b)
c)
凡事不怕敵人的驚嚇―這證明他們沈淪，你們得救都是出於 神 (V28)
And not in any way terrified by your adversaries,
which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from
God. (v28)
d)
不但要信服基督，且要為祂受苦並爭戰 (V29-30)
Not only to believe in Christ, but also to suffer and
have conflict for His sake (v29-30)
－你們的爭戰就與你們在我身上從前所看見，現在所聽見的一樣

Having the same conflict
which you saw in me and now hear is in me.
