『這些人是誰？』(11) －神家的戰車馬兵：以利亞
經文：雅5:17-18；王上第17章－王下第2章

A. 與我們有 的以利亞

10 門徒問耶穌說：「文士為甚麼說以利亞必須先來？」 11 耶穌回答說：「以利亞固然先來，並要復興萬事； 12 只是我告訴你們，以利亞已經來了，人卻不認識他，竟任意待他。人子也將要這樣受他們的害。」 13 門徒這才明白耶穌所說的是指著施洗的約翰。(太17:10-13)

(11) – Elijah: The Chariot and Horsemen of God’s House

D. Elijah was of the House of God
● “Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces. He also took up the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan. Then he took the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, “Where is the Lord God of Elijah?” And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over.” (2 King 2: 11-14)
