保羅對腓立比教會愛心的提醒—須要『有知識和各樣的見識』
Pauls’s reminder for the
Philippians concerning love – “to abound in knowledge and all discernment”
— 「我所禱告的，就是要你們的愛心在知識和各樣見識上多而又多…」（1：9-10）
”And this I pray,
that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all
discernment…” (1:9-10)
— 「應當防備犬類、防備作惡的、防備妄自行割的．」（3：2）
”Beware of dogs,
beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation!” (3:2)

「因為有許多人行事是基督十字架的仇敵。我屢次告訴你們，現在又流淚的告訴你們…他們的 神就是自己的肚腹，他們以自己的羞辱為榮耀，專以地上的事為念。」（3：18-19）
”For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even
weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: … whose god is their
belly, and whose glory is in their shame – who set their mind on earthly

— 「 他們在患難中受大試煉的時候，仍有滿足的快樂，在極窮之間還格外顯出他們樂捐的厚恩3…他們是按著力量，而且也過了力量，自己甘心樂意地捐助， 4
再三地求我們，准他們在這供給聖徒的恩情上有分； 5
並且他們所做的，不但照我們所想望的，更照 神的旨意先把自己獻給主，又歸附了我們。」(林後8：1-5）

trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded

Passively
— 凡事不可結黨，不可貪圖虛浮的榮耀（2：3）
Let nothing be done
through selfish ambition or conceit (2:3)

個人不要單顧自己的事，也要顧別人的事（2：4）
Let
each of you look out not only for his own interests,
but also for the interests of others (2:4)

凡所行的都不要發怨言，起爭端（2：14）
Do
all things without complaining and disputing (2:14)

要幫助友阿爹和循都基能在主裡同心（4：2-3）
Implore
Euodia and Syntyche to be

積極方面
Actively
— 要彼此勸勉，扶持與建立（2：1-2，4）
Encourage, help and
build up each other (2:1-2, 4)

存心謙卑，各人看別人比自己強（2：3）當叫眾人知道你們謙讓的心（4：5）
In lowliness of mind
let each esteem others better than himself (2:3) Let
your gentleness be known to all men (4:5)
— 當以基督耶穌的心為心（2：5）
Let this mind be in
you which was also in Christ Jesus (2:5)
— 思念美善的，行當行的（4：8-9）
Meditate on good
things, do what should be done (4:8-9)
