所以福音的中心與內容就是 神的兒子,我主耶穌基督:
a) 祂為罪人死

21 你們從前與 神隔絕,因著惡行,心裏與祂為敵。 22 但如今祂藉著基督的肉身受死,叫你們與自己和好,都成了聖潔,沒有瑕疵,無可責備,把你們引到自己面前。(西1:21-22)
b) 祂已從死裡復活

3 我當日所領受又傳給你們的:第一,就是基督照聖經所說,為我們的罪死了, 4 而且埋葬了;又照聖經所說,第三天復活了É(林前15:3-4)
c) 祂為死人活

我已經與基督同釘十字架,現在活著的不再是我,乃是基督在我裏面活著É(加2:20a)

C. He died for mankind, and now resurrected
from death

a. He died for
sinners
21 And you, who once
were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, 22 he has now reconciled
in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless
and above reproach before him (Col 1:21-22)
b. He is resurrected
from death
For I delivered to
you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins
in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on
the third day in accordance with the Scriptures (1 Cor
15: 3-4)
c. He lives for the
dead
I have been crucified
with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. (Gal
