Seeing God’s Pruning Through Psalm 84

讀經：詩篇第84篇

Scriptures: Psalm 84

背誦經文：5靠你有力量、心中想往錫安大道的，這人便為有福！6他們經過流淚谷，叫這谷變為泉源之地；並有秋雨之福蓋滿了全谷。7他們行走，力上加力，各人到錫安朝見神。(詩84:5-7)

Memorization Verses: 5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage. 6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools. 7 They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion.

A) 可拉的故事 (民16章) The Story of Korah (Numbers 16)

B) 神的修剪 The Pruning of God

31 摩西剛說完了這一切話，他們腳下的地就開了口， 32把他們和他們的家眷，並一切屬可拉的人丁、財物都吞下去。 (民16:31-32)

31 Now it came to pass, as he finished speaking all these words, that the ground split apart under them, 32 and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the men with Korah, with all their goods. (Numbers 16:31-32)

他們經過「流淚谷」，叫這谷變為泉源之地；並有秋雨之福蓋滿了全谷。(詩84:6)

6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools.

C) 生命轉化的可拉 Korah, Being Transformed

a) 全然降卑，知道感恩 Be totally humble and thankful

萬軍之耶和華－我的王，我的神啊，在你祭壇那裏，麻雀為自己找著房屋，燕子為自己找著菢雛之窩。

3 Even the sparrow has found a home, And the swallow a nest for herself, Where she may lay her young— Even Your altars, O Lord of hosts, My King and my God. (Psalm 84:3)

b) 渴慕 神的自己，珍惜 神的同在 Pant for God Himself and cherish God’s presence

…我的心腸，我的肉體向永生神呼籲 (cried out for the living God)

… My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. (Psalm 84:2b)

5靠你有力量、心中想往錫安大道的，這人便為有福！…7他們行走，力上加力，各人到錫安朝見神。(84:5-7)

在你的院宇住一日，勝似在別處住千日；寧可在我 神殿中看門，不願住在惡人的帳棚裏。(詩84:10)

10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. (Psalm 84:10)

c) 愛慕 神的居所，成為 神家守門的 Adore the dwelling place of God and become the gatekeeper of God’s house

1萬軍之耶和華啊，你的居所何等可愛！2我羨慕渴想耶和華的院宇…

1 How lovely is Your tabernacle,O Lord of hosts! 2 My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the Lord...

大衛在建造 神家事奉體系的時候，聖殿守門的成為可拉後裔主要的服事(代上26:1-19)：忠心持守 神家分別為聖的見證 When David was establishing the service system for God’s house, the sons of Korah became the gatekeepers of the Holy Temple (1 Chronicles 26:1-9). They faithfully witnessed the consecration of God’s house.

可拉的詩(共有12篇 – 42-49, 84-85, 87-88)處處表達出他們豐盛的生命與深刻的經歷，充滿了對神的敬畏、感恩與愛慕。The psalms of Korah (12 psalms: 42-49, 84-85, 87-88) thoroughly manifest the abundant lives and profound experiences of the sons of Korah. These psalms are full of the fear of God, and the thanksgiving and adoration to God.
