【前言】：肉身的死亡或靈性死亡的狀態都是仇敵工作和人犯罪的結果，三而一的神卻是賜生命的 神－神是一切生命的源頭，而且樂意捨了自己獨生的愛子，為了叫一切信祂的人可以得著永生；基督來不只叫我們得生命，並且叫我們得著更豐盛的生命；聖靈也是『賜生命的靈』，是『叫人活的靈』。所以，『活起來！Be Alive & Make It Alive!』不僅是我們今年同工退修會的主題，更是我們全教會今年生活和各樣事奉的目標和挑戰。
【Foreword】: Physical death or spiritually dead condition are the result of the work of the enemy and the consequence of manÕs sins. Yet the triune God is the life-giving God - God is the origin of all lives, and is willing to give His only begotten and beloved Son so that all who believe in Him will have eternal life. Not only Christ came to give us life, but a more abundant life. The Holy Spirit is also a Òlife-giving SpiritÓ, the ÒSpirit that gives lifeÓ. Therefore ÒBe Alive & Make It AliveÓ is not only the theme of this yearÕs coworker retreat, but also our churchÕs life and ministry goal and challenge this year.
A) 基督的救贖是為了叫我們得著真自由
The redemption of Christ is for us to receive true freedom
o 天父的兒子若叫你們自由，你們就真自由了。(約8:36)
Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. (John 8:36)
o 18 主的靈在我身上，因為祂用膏膏我，叫我傳福音給貧窮的人；差遣我報告： 被擄的得釋放， 瞎眼的得看見，叫那受壓制的得自由， 19 報告 神悅納人的禧年。(路4:18-19)
The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. (Luke 4:18-19)
o 基督釋放了我們，叫我們得以自由。所以要站立得穩，不要再被奴僕的軛挾制。(加5:1)
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Gal 5:1)
B) 在聖靈裡自由的前提乃在於與我們先能夠在基督裡向 神活
The premise of being free in the Holy Spirit is being alive to God in Christ
o 時候將到，現在就是了，死人要聽見 神兒子的聲音，聽見的人就要活了。(約5:25)
Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. (John 5:25)
o 我們藉著洗禮歸入死，和祂一同埋葬，原是叫我們一舉一動有新生的樣式，像基督藉父的榮耀從死裏復活一樣。É你們向罪也當看自己是死的；向 神在基督耶穌裏，卻當看自己是活的。(羅6:4, 11)
Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of lifeÉ Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:4, 11)
C) 主就是那靈，主的靈在哪裡，哪裡就得以自由 (林後3:17)
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (2 Cor 3:17)
o 首先的人亞當成了有靈的活人 (a living being)，末後的亞當成了叫人活的靈 (a life-giving Spirit)。(林前15:45)
The first man Adam became a living being. The last Adam became a life-giving Spirit. (1 Cor 15:45)
o 叫人活著的乃是靈，肉體是無益的。(約6:63a)
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. (John 6:63a)
o 字句是叫人死，精意( - 或譯：聖靈)是叫人活。(林後3:6b)
The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. (2 Cor 3:6b)
o É賜生命聖靈的律，在基督耶穌裏釋放了我，使我脫離罪和死的律了。(羅8:2)
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2)
