講題：《約翰福音》中的「我是…」(1) －我是『世界的光』

Topic: “I AM” in the Gospel of John (1) - I Am “the Light of the World”

背誦經文：因我們 神憐憫的心腸， 叫清晨的日光從高天臨到我們， 79 要照亮坐在黑暗中死蔭裏的人，把我們的腳引到平安的路上。(路1:78-79)

A) 約翰福音中的「我是...」

The “I AM” in the Gospel of John

－我是『生命的糧』、 『世界的光』、『羊的門』、『好牧人』、『復活』、『道路、真理、生命』、『真葡萄樹』、『基督』

I am “the bread of life”, “the light of the world”, “the door of the sheep”, “the good shepherd”, “the resurrection”, “the way, the truth, the life”, “the true vine”, “the Christ”

B) 活在光中對我們的重要

The importance of abiding in the light to us

1) 沒有光，我們就容易 .

Without light, we easily .

－ 若在黑夜走路，就必跌倒，因為他沒有光 (約11:10)

But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him. (John 11:10)

2) 沒有光，我們就容易 .

Without light, we easily .

－應當趁著有光行走，免得黑暗臨到你們；那在黑暗裏行走的，不知道往何處去…(約12:35)

Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going. (John 12:35)

3) 沒有光，我們就活在 .

Without light, we live in .

－例如：充滿恐懼與不安；落在各樣危險中；容易鬆弛、任意妄為，甚至犯罪…

For example: full of fear and anxiety, in all kinds of dangers, unwatchful, lawless and even sin...

▪ 我到世上來，乃是光，叫凡信我的，不住在黑暗裏 (約12:46)

I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. (John 12:46)

▪ 凡事受了責備，就被光顯明出來，一切能顯明的就是光…(弗5:13)

But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. (Ephesians 5:13)

▪ …你裏頭的光若黑暗了，那黑暗是何等大呢！(太6:23b)

… If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! (Matt 6:23b)

C) 耶穌是光的獨特之處

The uniqueness of Jesus being the light

▪ 耶穌又對眾人說：「我是世界的光。跟從我的，就不在黑暗裏走，必要得著生命的光。」(約 8:12)

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12)

1) 是『 』的光－是為著萬民的【看哪，黑暗遮蓋大地， 幽暗遮蓋萬民…賽60:2a】

The light of the “ ” - is for the world (For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people… Isaiah 60:2a)

2) 是『 』的光－是有醫治之能，且能帶給人生命的【…其光線有醫治之能－瑪4:2】

The light of “ ” - has the power to heal and gives life to man (...with healing in His wings - Malachi 4:2)

3) 是『 』的光－是活的，且會不斷地往前【…越照越明，直到日午－箴4:18】

The light “ ” - is living and continuously moves forward (...shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18)

D) 我們對祂該有的回應

Our due response to Him

1) 主動 光，接受光照 (約3:20-21)

Actively the light and receive the light (John 3:20-21)

－凡作惡的便恨光，並不來就光，恐怕他的行為受責備。但行真理的必來就光…

For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light...

2) 光中，且 光中－『活在今天的亮光中』

in the light and in the light - “live in the light of today”

－在你那裏有生命的源頭； 在你的光中，我們必得見光。(詩36:9)

For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light. (Psalm 36:9)

3) 持續、用心地 －「跟從我的，就不在黑暗裏走，必要得著生命…」(約 8:12)

Continuously, attentively - “He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
