“A People Dwelling Alone, Not Reckoning Itself Among the Nations” (8) : Becoming a “New Creation”

A) 從「人算什麼？」到成為被 神所算數的人

A) From “What is man?” to one that is counted by God

● 3 我觀看你指頭所造的天，並你所陳設的月亮星宿， 4 便說：人算甚麼，你竟顧念他！世人算甚麼，你竟眷顧他！(詩8:3-4)

● 3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained. 4 What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? (Psalm 8:3-4)

● 1雅各啊，創造你的耶和華，以色列啊，造成你的那位，現在如此說：你不要害怕！因為我救贖了你。我曾提你的名召你，你是屬我的。 2 你從水中經過，我必與你同在；你逿過江河，水必不漫過你；你從火中行過，必不被燒，火焰也不著在你身上。 3 因為我是耶和華─你的 神，是以色列的聖者─你的救主…4 因我看你為寶為尊；又因我愛你…5 不要害怕，因我與你同在; 我必領你的後裔…將我的眾子從遠方帶來，將我的眾女從地極領回，… 7 …凡稱為我名下的人，是我為自己的榮耀創造的，是我所做成，所造作的。（賽43:1-7)

● 1 But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. 3 For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;... 4 Since you were precious in My sight. You have been honored, and I have loved you;... 5 Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants… bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the ends of the earth,...7 Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”（Isa. 43:1-7)

a) 神救贖我們，成為屬 神的子民

a) God redeemed us to make us His people

b) 神愛我們，保護我們

b) God loves and protects us

c) 神與我們同在，親自引領祂的百姓

c) God is with us and He personally leads his people

d) 神視我們為寶為尊

d) God sees us as precious

e) 神的榮耀成為我們受造與生存的目的

e) God’s glory becomes the purpose of our creation and existence

B) 在基督裡不僅蒙贖蒙愛，且成為新造的人

B) In Christ, we are not just redeemed and loved, but became a new creation

● 神愛世人，甚至將祂的獨生子賜給他們，叫一切信祂的，不致滅亡，反得永生。(約3:16)

● For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

● 若有人在基督裏，他就是新造的人，舊事已過，都變成新的了。(林後5；17)

● Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

C) 在基督裡得生命，且得著更豐盛的生命

C) In Christ we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly

● 11 …神賜給我們永生；這永生也是在祂兒子裏面。 12 人有了 神的兒子就有生命，沒有 神的兒子就沒有生命。(約壹5:11-12)

● 11 …that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. (1 John 5:11-12)

● 盜賊來，無非要偷竊，殺害，毀壞；我來了，是要叫人得生命，並且得的更豐盛。（約10：10）

● The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)
