“Who are These People” (10) - Isaiah - Faithful Until Death

1. 全然 的以賽亞

Isaiah who completely .

v 由先知的三個『我說』看他對主顯現時的反應（6:5-13）：

Isaiah’s reactions to God’s revelation - his three “I said”

1）面對 神的 — 深覺不配，甘被潔淨（6:5-7）

1) Facing God’s - feeling unworthy, willing to be cleansed (6:5-7)

那時我說：「禍哉！我滅亡了！因為我是嘴唇不潔的人，又住在嘴唇不潔的民中，又因我眼見大君王─萬軍之耶和華。」有一撒拉弗飛到我跟前，手裏拿著紅炭，是用火剪從壇上取下來的，將炭沾我的口，說：「看哪，這炭沾了你的嘴，你的罪孽便除掉，你的罪惡就赦免了。」（6:5-7）

So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts. ” Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged.” (Isaiah 6:5-7)

2）面對 神的 — 全然獻上，任主使用（6:8）

2) Facing God’s - offered completely, at God’s command ( 6:8)

我又聽見主的聲音說：「我可以差遣誰呢？誰肯為我們去呢？」我說：「我在這裏，請差遣我！」（6:8）

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send,

And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” (6:8)

3）面對 神的 — 不畏艱難，至死忠心（6:9-13）

3) Facing God’s - undaunted, faithful until death (6:9-13)

他說：「你去告訴這百姓說：你們聽是要聽見，卻不明白；看是要看見，卻不曉得。要使這百姓心蒙脂油，耳朵發沉，眼睛昏迷；恐怕眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裏明白，回轉過來，便得醫治。」我就說：「主啊，這到幾時為止呢？」他說：直到城邑荒涼，無人居住，房屋空閒無人，地土極其荒涼。並且耶和華將人遷到遠方，在這境內撇下的地土很多。境內剩下的人若還有十分之一，也必被吞滅，像栗樹、橡樹雖被砍伐，樹不子卻仍存留。這聖潔的種類在國中也是如此。（6:9-13）

And He said, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’ “Make the heart of this people dull, And their ears heavy, And shut their eyes; Lest they see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And return and be healed.” Then I said, “Lord, how long?” And He answered: “Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant, The houses are without a man, The land is utterly desolate, The Lord has removed men far away, And the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land. But yet a tenth will be in it, And will return and be for consuming, As a terebinth tree or as an oak, Whose stump remains when it is cut down. So the holy seed shall be its stump.”

Isaiah who became in God’s house

v 他對神家最重要的兩大職事:

Isaiah’s two most important ministries in God’s house:

1) 他強而有力的 .

1) His powerful .

－就連新約也至少20次引用他的話，例如：「這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話，說…」

- Even the New Testament quotes Isaiah at least 20 times, for example “that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying...”

2) 他扭轉乾坤的 .

2) His that turned situations around

－例如：希西家王在國家危難時立即差眾首領和眾長老去請以賽亞禱告

- For example, King Hazekiah sent officers and elders to Isaiah for his prayer at the moment of national crisis

「…求你為餘剩的民揚聲禱告」(賽37:4b)

“… Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.” ( Isaiah 37:4b)

3. 的以賽亞

Isaiah who was .

v 歷經五王(1:1)，忠心耿耿，傳說最後殉道於瑪拿西王手下－「…被鋸鋸死…」(來11:37)

Gone through 5 kings (1:1), completely faithful, martyred under King Manasseh

“...sawn in two…” (Hebrews 11:37)

v 他對神家最重要的兩大職事:

1) 他強而有力的話語職事

－就連新約也至少20次引用他的話，例如：「這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話，說…」

2) 他扭轉乾坤的禱告職事

－例如：希西家王在國家危難時立即差眾首領和眾長老去請以賽亞禱告

「…求你為餘剩的民揚聲禱告」(賽37:4b)

1. 至死忠心的以賽亞

v 歷經五王(1:1)，忠心耿耿，傳說最後殉道於瑪拉基王手下－「…被鋸鋸死…」(來11:36)
