是為著 神的榮耀而被造、而活著

A) 萬有是為著 神的旨意而被造

A) All things are created for God’s will

§ 我們的主，我們的　神，你是配得榮耀、尊貴、權柄的；因為你創造了萬物，並且萬物是因你的旨意被創造而有的。(啟4:11)

You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created. (Revelation 4:11)

§ 我們講的，乃是從前所隱藏、 神奧祕的智慧，就是　神在萬世以前預定使我們得榮耀的。(林前2:7)

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory. (1 Corinthians 2:7)

B) 人是照著 神的形像和樣式而被造

B) Man is made in God’s image, according to His likeness

§ 26神說：「我們要照著我們的形像、按著我們的樣式造人，使他們管理海裏的魚、空中的鳥、地上的牲畜，和全地，並地上所爬的一切昆蟲。」 27 神就照著自己的形像造人，乃是照著祂的形像造男造女。(創1：26-27)

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” ²⁷ So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Genesis 1:26-27)

§ 神的 神能已將一切關乎生命和虔敬的事賜給我們，皆因我們認識那用自己榮耀和美德召我們的主 4 因此，祂已將又寶貴又極大的應許賜給我們，叫我們既脫離世上從情慾來的敗壞，就得與 神的性情有分。 5 正因這緣故，你們要分外地殷勤；有了信心，又要加上德行；有了德行，又要加上知識… 10 所以弟兄們，應當更加殷勤，… 11 這樣，必叫你們豐豐富富地得以進入我們主─救主耶穌基督永遠的國。(彼後1:3-11)

As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, ⁴ by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. ⁵ But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge... ¹⁰ Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent … ¹¹ for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1:3-11)

C) 神的兒女是為著 神的榮耀被造、被 神製作

C) Children of God are created and made for God’s glory

§ 凡稱為我名下的人，是我為自己的榮耀創造的，是我所做成，所造作的。(賽 43:7)

Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him. (Isaiah 43:7)

§ 我們這至暫至輕的苦楚，要為我們成就極重無比、永遠的榮耀。(林後4:17)

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17)

§ …叫　神在凡事上因耶穌基督得榮耀。原來榮耀、權能都是祂的，直到永永遠遠。阿們！(彼前4:11)

...that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. (1 Peter 4:11)

D) 神的兒女是為著 神的榮耀而活著

D) God’s children live for God’s glory.

§ 所以，你們或吃或喝，無論做甚麼，都要為榮耀　神而行。(林前10:31)

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31)

§ 你們多結果子，我父就因此得榮耀，你們也就是我的門徒了。(約15:8)

By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. (John 15:8)

§ 萬有都是本於祂，倚靠祂，歸於祂。願榮耀歸給祂，直到永遠…(羅11:36)

For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. (Romans 11:36)

§ 但願祂在教會中，並在基督耶穌裏，得著榮耀，直到世世代代，永永遠遠。阿們！ (弗3:21)

To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:21)
