(B) The Transcendental Christ (1) - He is More Honorable Than Moses and Joshua

背誦經文：1同蒙天召的聖潔弟兄啊，你們應當思想我們所認為使者、為大祭司的耶穌。 2 祂為那設立祂的盡忠，如同摩西在　神的全家盡忠一樣。 3 祂比摩西算是更配多得榮耀，好像建造房屋的比房屋更尊榮。(希3:1-3)

Memory Verses: ¹ Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, ² who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. ³ For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house. (Hebrews 3:1-3)

(一）基督為兒子，親自治理祂的家
Christ as a Son over His own house

－比在神家中全然盡忠的摩西更尊貴
He is more honorable than Moses, who was faithful in all His house

● 1同蒙天召的聖潔弟兄啊，你們應當思想我們所認為使者、為大祭司的耶穌。 2 祂為那設立祂的盡忠，如同摩西在　神的全家盡忠一樣。 3 祂比摩西算是更配多得榮耀，好像建造房屋的比房屋更尊榮； 4 因為房屋都必有人建造，但建造萬物的就是　神。 5 摩西為僕人，在　神的全家誠然盡忠，為要證明將來必傳說的事。 6 但基督為兒子，治理　神的家；我們若將可誇的盼望和膽量堅持到底，便是祂的家了。 (希3:1-6) 
¹ Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, ² who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. ³ For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house. ⁴ For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. ⁵ And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward, ⁶ but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end. (Hebrews 3:1-6)

（二） 基督為安息日的主，在祂裡面才可能有真實的安息
Christ is the Lord of the Sabbath, only in Him we have true rest

－比帶領百姓進入應許之地的約書亞更有能力
He is more powerful than Joshua, who led the Israelites into the promised land

● 8 若是約書亞已叫他們享了安息，後來　神就不再提別的日子了。 9 這樣看來，必另有一安息日的安息為　神的子民存留。 10 因為那進入安息的，乃是歇了自己的工，正如　神歇了他的工一樣。 11 所以，我們務必竭力進入那安息，免得有人學那不信從的樣子跌倒了。(希4:8-11) 
⁸ For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. ⁹ There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. ¹⁰ For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from His works as God did from His. ¹¹ Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. (Hebrews 4:8-11)

● 又對他們說：「安息日是為人設立的，人不是為安息日設立的。所以，人子也是安息日的主。」(可2:27-28)
²⁷ And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. ²⁸ Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.” (Mark 2:27-28)

（三）希伯來書作者的勸誡
Exhortation of the Author of the Book of Hebrews

第二次的警告：不可硬著心不信，要竭力進入『那』安息 (希3:7-19)
The Second Warning: Do not harden your hearts, but be diligent to enter “that” rest. (Hebrews 3:7-19)

● 12 弟兄們，你們要謹慎，免得你們中間或有人存著不信的惡心，把永生　神離棄了。 13 總要趁著還有今日，天天彼此相勸，免得你們中間有人被罪迷惑，心裏就剛硬了。 14 我們若將起初確實的信心堅持到底，就在基督裏有分了。 (3:12-14)
¹² Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; ¹³ but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today”, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. ¹⁴ For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end. (Hebrews 3:12-14)
