That He May Have the First Place (7) – ÒChrist Will Be Magnified As AlwaysÓ

背誦經文：20 照著我所切慕、所盼望的，沒有一事叫我羞愧。只要凡事放膽，無論是生是死，總叫基督在我身上照常顯大。21 因我活著就是基督，我死了就有益處。(腓 1:20-21)

Memory Verse:

According to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.  (Philippians 1:20-21)

 

 

A.             神造我們和製作我們的目的，都是為了                     .

A.  The purpose that God created and made us is                       .

 

－É凡稱為我名下的人，是我為自己的榮耀創造的，是我所做成(have formed)，所造作的(have made)。(賽 43:7)

- ÉEveryone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him. (Isaiah 43:7)

 

B.              基督是 神榮耀的本體和豐滿的彰顯

B.   Christ is the manifestation of GodÕs glorious person and His fullness

1)   神本性一切的豐盛，都有形有體的                               (西 2:9)

1) For                            all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9)

 

        2)   祂是 神                                ，是                              (來1:3a) ，是那充滿萬有者的豐滿 (弗 1:23b)

2) He is                                   and                                              (Hebrews 1:3a),  the fullness of Him who fills all in all (Ephesians 1:23b)

 

3)   神的旨意乃是要基督                                       (西 1:18b)

      3) GodÕs will is for Christ to have                                             (Colossians 1:18b)

 

 「居首位」不只說到衪在地位和次序上的超越，也說到『基督是一切，又在一切之內』(西 3:11)，並且將來萬有都要『在基督裡同歸於一』 (弗 1:10) 。

Ò To have the preeminenceÓ does not only refer to His preeminent position or ranking, but also means ÒChrist is all and in allÓ (Colossians 3:11),  and all things will be gathered together in one and  in Christ. (Ephesians 1:10)

- To Him be glory in                                               to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:21)

a)      É無論是生是死，『                                                   』 (腓 1:20)

－大哉，敬虔的奧祕，無人不以為然﹗就是　神在肉身顯現，被聖靈稱義，被天使看見，被傳於外邦，被世人信服，被接在榮耀裏。(提前 3:16)

-   And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory. (1 Timothy 3:16)

 

 

D.                『不再是我，乃是基督』是我們的        、         與          .

- Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph                                 , and     through us diffuses the fragrance of                                  in every place. (2 Corinthians 2:14)

 

 

－15 人點燈，不放在斗底下，是放在燈臺上，就照亮一家的人。 16 你們的光也當這樣照在人前，叫他們看見你們的                    ，便將                歸給你們在天上的父。(太 5:15-16)

- Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your                and             your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:15-16)
