Service of the Whole Household

經文：路1:8-25，39-45，57-67,80；路11:17；使16:31；太5:15-16；弗5:22-6:4, 西 3:18-21

背誦經文：18 你們作妻子的，當順服自己的丈夫，這在主裏面是相宜的。
19 你們作丈夫的，要愛你們的妻子，不可苦待她們。
20 你們作兒女的，要凡事聽從父母，因為這是主所喜悅的。
21 你們作父親的，不要惹兒女的氣，恐怕他們失了志氣。(西 3:18-21)

18 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.
20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.

(A) 神要得著的是『全家的事奉』

(B) Example of Zechariah’s household  
     (a) 父母：照著主的旨意養育孩子，為 神家預備合用器皿
     (a) The parents:  Raise the child according to the Lord’s will, and prepare a vessel for God’s house

(1) 被聖靈充滿、敬虔事奉 神的父親

(1) A Spirit-filled father who serves God with godliness

(2) 被聖靈充滿、一心順服的母親

(2) A Spirit-filled and submissive mother

     (b) 孩子：被聖靈充滿、心靈強健 (路1:15, 80)，一生活著為耶穌的施洗約翰
    (b) The child: Filled with the Holy Spirit and strong in spirit (Luke 1:15, 80), John the Baptist  lived his life for Jesus
(C)家的興衰，人人有責
(C) The prosperity of a household is everyone’s responsibility
     (a)消極上：
(a) Passively
－「凡一家自相紛爭，就必敗落…」(路11:17)
- “A house divided against a house falls”  ( Luke 11:17)
     (b)積極上：
     (b) Positively
－「當信主耶穌，你和你一家都必得救」 (使16:31)
    -  “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household” (Acts            
    16:31)

－「人點燈…是放在燈臺上，就照亮一家的人。 你們的光也當這樣照在人前，叫他們看見你們的好行為，便將榮耀歸給你們在天上的父。」(太5:15-16)

- “Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”  ( Matthew 5:15-16)

• 各人照著聖經的教導，活出合 神心意的家庭生活 (弗5:22-6:4, 西 3:18-21)
• To live a family life that is approved by God by following biblical teachings ( Ephesians 5:22-6:4, Colossians 3:18-21)

Reflection Questions
1. 給自己打個分數，照著主的吩咐作丈夫，妻子，父母，兒女做得如何？聽了信息後可以如何做得更好呢？
1 How would you evaluate yourself as a husband, wife or child based on God’s commands?  After hearing this message, how can you improve yourself?

2. 就著 “家的興衰，人人有責”的回應， 你如何在你的家，擴大到你的家族，甚至屬靈的大家庭來盡你的責任，帶下更多的祝福？
2  “The prosperity of a household is everyone’s responsibility”, how will you fulfill your responsibilities in your family, household and the spiritual home to bring about more blessings?
