- "The In-dwelling of Christ" and a New Creation

Memory Verse: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

(A) 神使我們『在基督裡』成為新造的人

God made us a new creation through "in Christ"

－你們得『在基督耶穌裏』是本乎　神…(林前 1:30a)

-  But of Him you are in Christ Jesus...(1 Corinthians 1:30a)

－若有人『在基督裏』，他就是新造的人，舊事已過，都變成新的了。(林後 5:17)
- Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

(B) 『在基督裡』－舊事已過，一切都變成新的了
"In Christ" - old things have passed away, all things have become new

(a) 新的生命與性情

New life and nature/trait

(b) 新的恩典與機會
New grace and opportunity

(c) 新的標竿與生活

New goal and life

(d) 新的意義與價值
New purpose and worth

(e) 新的盼望與結局

New hope and ending
……

(C) 如何落實『新造的人生』

How to bring to reality the new creation of life

(1) 得著已經成為新造的確據
Receive the assurance of the new creation that one already obtained

－凡接待衪的，就是信衪名的人，衪就賜他們權柄作　神的兒女。 13 這等人不是從….生的，….乃是從　神生的。 (約 1:12-13)
- But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: ¹³ who were born, not of ... but of God. (John 1:12-13)

－ 基督是我們的生命 (西 3:4)
- Christ is our life (Colossians 3:4)

(2) 用心体驗新造生命的真實

Experience by heart the reality of the new creation

－衪對我說：「我的恩典夠你用的，因為我的能力是在人的軟弱上顯得完全。」所以，我更喜歡誇自己的軟弱，好叫基督的能力覆庇我。(林後12:9)
- And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

－我們有這寶貝放在瓦器裏，要顯明這莫大的能力是出於　神，不是出於我們 (林後4:7)
- But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. (2 Corinthians 4:7)

(3) 積極活出新造生命所該有的改變與祝福

Actively live out the changes and blessings that necessarily result from the new life

－我靠著那加給我力量的，凡事都能做 (腓 4:13)
- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)

－感謝的香氣。(林後2:14)
- Fragrance of Thanksgiving (2 Corinthians 2:14)
