撒母耳記 (12) – 大衛的晚年           

The Books of Samuel (12) -- The latter years of David  

經文撒下 21:1--23:6 ,(王上1:1--2:12,代上 28--29

Scriptures: 2 Samuel 21:1 - 23:6,  (1 Kings 1:1 - 2:12, 1 Chronicles 28 - 29)

背誦經文:『義人的腳步、被耶和華立定;他的道路、耶和華也喜愛。他雖失腳、也不至全身仆倒,因為耶和華用手攙扶他( 3723-24)

Memory Verse: "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way.  Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the LORD upholds him with His hand." (Psalms 37: 23-24)

  1. 一生受教、不住成長的大衛

I. David was  always   teachable and continuously growing throughout his life

—「祂以憐憫和審判,織成我的年代」 

- "With mercy and with judgment, my web of time He wove"

—大衛的臨終之言(撒下 231-7):一位被神的靈與神的話所充滿的受膏君王 

- David's last words (2 Samuel 23:1-7) : An anointed king filled with God's spirit and God's words
 

  1. 生命豐盛、成熟的大衛

II.  David's life was abundant and mature

—不止息的愛:為 神及 神的殿 

- Unfailing love: for God and God's temple

—不妥協的使命感:臨終不忘 神國安危 

- The uncompromising sense of mission: never forgetting the  wellness  of God's kingdom even before the end

III. David died with "full of days" (1 Chronicles 29:28)

             —「我尋得耶西的 兒子、他是合我心意的人、凡事要遵行我的旨意。」(徒 1322b

- "I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will." (Acts 13:22b)

     —「大衛按 神的旨意服事了他那一世的人就睡了。」(徒 1336另譯)

- “For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep." (Acts 13:36)
