重建聖殿的重要意義：重建生活的目的
─ 恢復以神為中心的事奉與敬拜
(二) 重建聖殿的攔阻與考驗
(1) 外面仇敵的攔阻 ：仇敵百般的刁難
─ “那地的民、就在猶大人建造的時候、使他們的手發軟、擾亂他們。……賄買謀士、要敗壞他們的謀算….。” (拉4：4-6)
─ “於是….神殿的工程就停止了、直停到….。”(拉4：24)
(2) 裡面使命的考驗：百姓的退後與妥協
─
“百姓說、建造耶和華殿的時候尚未來到…。”(哈該1：2)
─ “這殿仍然荒涼、你們自己還住天花板的房屋麼？…這是萬軍之耶和華說的。”(哈該1：4-9)
(三) 重建之工的恢復
(1) 先知奉命傳遞勸勉信息(拉5：1-2，哈該書，撒迦利亞一~八章)

百姓的順服(拉5：2
, 6:14)與積極的行動(5：8)
(3) 神大能的幫助(亞4：6-10)與環境的效力(拉6：6-15)

全面事奉的恢復(拉6：16-22)

The Hindrance and Trials of Rebuilding the Temple
1. The hindrance of the
external foes: all sorts of their hostile bid
- "The people of the land discouraged the people of Judah, and
frightened them from building, and hired counselors against them to frustrate
their counsel ...." (Ezra 4:4-6)
- "Then work on the house of God in Jerusalem ceased, and it was
stopped until ..." (Ezra
4:24)
2. The test to inner
mission: draw backs and compromise of the people

"This people says, "The time has not come, even the time for the
house of the LORD to be rebuilt."'" (Hag 1:2)

"Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses while this
house lies desolate?" .... says the LORD of hosts (Hag 1:4-9)

Restoring the Works of Rebuilding
1. The prophets were commissioned
to give the words of exhortation (Ezra 5:1,2; Hag; Zech
1 to 8)
2. Obedience of the people (Ezra
5:2,6:14) and their positive acts (5:8)
3. The mighty help of God (Zech 4:6-10) and the workings of environment (Ezra 6:6-15)

The recovering of the service of all people (Ezra 6:16-22)

Could you detect the trickery of those who tried to stop the rebuilding of the
temple from Ezra 4:1-5, 11-16? Why the enemies also wanted to be a part of the
rebuilding? Did Zerubabel, Jeshua,
and the leaders answered them according to God?

What do you feel when you read "then.. the works fo
building the temple cease, until..."?

Every mission has to be tested to reveal its truth. Please share your thought
