12 愛的真諦

LOVE IS …

 

愛是恆久忍耐，又有恩慈，

愛是不嫉妒，

Love is patient, is kind, is not jealous,

愛是不自誇，不張狂，

It does not boast, it is not proud,

不做害羞的事。

’Tis not arrogant.

不求自己的益處，不輕易發怒，

’Tis not self-seeking, is not provoked,

不計算人家的惡，

Keeps no record of wrongs,

不喜歡不義只喜歡真理。

Rejoices not in iniquity, but in the truth.

凡事包容，凡事相信，凡事盼望，

Bears all things, believes all things,

Hopes all things,

凡事忍耐 凡事要忍耐，

愛是永不止息。

Endures all things, endures,

活出愛

有一份愛從天而來，比山高，比海深。
測不透、摸不著、卻看得見。
因為有你，因為有我，甘心給，用心愛。

耶穌的愛激勵我，敞開我的生命。

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD

 

因為神愛世人，捨了獨生愛子；

For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son

釘死在十架上，使我脫離罪勢。

有日，祂要再來，

愛就是神成人樣式，

Love was when God became a man

尊榮皆捨棄，受時空限制；

Locked in time and space without rank or place;

愛就是神降生猶大，

Love was God born of Jewish kin,

與漁人為友，生活木匠家。

Just a carpenter with some fishermen.

愛就是耶穌行走於歷史，

Love was when Jesus walked in history -

祂帶來新生，祂日日恩賜；

愛就是主流血捨身，

Love was God nailed to bleed and die

為拯救並愛如我罪人。

愛就是主為我受死，

Love was God dying for my sin -

當我被罪捆，欲脫無望時；

愛就是復活主與我同行，

Love was when Jesus rose to walk with me -

祂日日賜我自由新生命；

愛就是惟有神竟肯

Love was God - only He would try
